What better excuse for an adventure than to check out some of the best pancakes around, here’s our pick…


The Breakfast Club, Nationwide

With cafés located in Angel, Hoxton, Spitalfields, London Bridge, Soho and
Battersea Rise The Breakfast’s Club chain of quirky cafés is the perfect hotspot for a weekend brunch.

To celebrate Shrove Tuesday, The Breakfast Club are holding a pancake challenge in all their London cafés. The concept is simple, eat a stack of 12 pancakes in 12 minutes or less and the pancakes are on The Breakfast Club! If you lose then you’ll pay, but to soften the blow, all proceedings will go to London based charities. The Breakfast Club will also be featuring a selection of limited edition pancakes between 17th-22nd February.

Coast 2 Coast, Nationwide

With thirteen restaurants dotted around England, you are unlikely to be too far away from a Coast 2 Coast. This all American restaurant’s menu is certainly not short of pancakes, from Peanut Butter to Bourbon Caramel, Bacon and Egg to Sausage and Syrup, Coast 2 Coast is guaranteed to give every pancake lover a tough choice.

Potty Pancakes, Potters Bar

Located on the outskirts of North London, Potty Pancakes is a charming diner style pancake parlour. The menu is genius with tonnes of sweet and savoury pancake fillers. Diners can choose a pancake recipe from the menu whilst the more adventurous diners can design their own pancake with a whole host of toppings.

My Old Dutch Pancake House, London

You will find a My Old Dutch in Holborn, Kensington and Chelsea. These charming cafés all share a fantastic menu featuring an extensive choice of savoury pancakes from Smoked Duck to Asparagus to the more traditional sweet pancakes.
Ed’s Easy Diner, Nationwide
